OUR WEST SIDE LOVE STORY

LIKE ANY OTHER LOVE STORY, BUT BETTER

Despite a snafu with the printing press over a layout issue on the rsvp cards, we finally managed to get our invitations hand lettered, stuffed, stamped and sealed. Ironically, the last item we waited on receiving were the postcard return stamps for the rsvp cards. The USPS took their sweet time delivering those rolls of stamps to us. Even our custom logo'd stamps and wax seals arrived faster!

MK has dropped off the boxful of envelopes at the post office, so look out for our handiwork in your mailbox soon. Our logo and invitations were designed by our truly talented bridesmaid, Stella Lai. Her taking time out from designing for major Fortune 500 brands to bring our vision to reality was a touching gift to us!

With only 41 more days until the wedding, it is difficult to believe that we are only just barely over halfway through our engagement. On our compressed timeline, it only seems reasonable to get our official engagement photos taken now! Our gifted photog bridesmaid, KC Slagle, bravely offered to provide us a session with her today.

For the shoot, we visited the neighborhood of Venice for an urban setting and Play Del Rey for beach/ocean shots. H+M pulled together last minute outfits and managed to look presentable. KC worked her magic and kept the couple calm and looking natural. Despite the trauma inflicted on HJ when MK stepped on her freshly pedicured toes, the team survived the day.

A HUGE THANK YOU to KC for giving us this gift and for enduring the stress of photographing a picky photographer. We can't wait to see the end result and to share the photos with everyone!

RSVP

OR JUST SAY HELLO!
To let us know immediately that you're coming, feel free to use the form below. If you will be traveling from a distance, please make a note of where you'll be staying.
We would like to request that you return the RSVP card you received in the mail by November 1st even if you use the online form. Primarily so we can provide you our free handwriting analysis. Just kidding about the analysis, but please don't forget to use the space on the reverse side of the RSVP card to provide marriage advice, whimsical doodles, flattering caricatures and/or well wishes. There may or may not be a reward for complying!
